Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a broad range of corporate transactions including M&A, private equity, joint ventures and corporate governance

• Mentoring junior team members and working closely with the Brighton partner on strategic initiatives and thought leadership

• Taking an active role in business development, building client relationships and growing the firm's corporate practice

• Working flexibly across home and office, collaborating with colleagues locally and nationally

• Acting for a wide range of clients including public and private UK and international companies

Basic Requirements

Qualified Solicitor with 5-10 years PQE in corporate law

• Solid foundation in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance

• Strong intellect with consistent academic achievement

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong client management ability

• Genuine team player with initiative, drive and strong organisational skills

Preferred Requirements

• Working knowledge of debt finance

• Sector experience in healthcare

• Experience acting as lead or principal assistant on complex corporate transactions

• Existing client relationships or business development track record
