Responsibilities

• Maintaining a strong reputation and presence as a senior family lawyer in the Hampshire region

• Managing a team and leading on strategy, approach and business development

• Providing first-class legal advice across finances on divorce, children matters, cohabitation disputes and pre- and post-nuptial agreements

• Planning and engaging in business development activities to grow the Family team and wider firm

• Building and maintaining networks of client referrers locally and regionally

• Working collaboratively across teams to develop service sectors at the Hampshire office‍
  
  

Basic Requirements

Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in Family law

• Experienced in running their own caseload and delegating to junior team members

• Strong communication and management skills with an established network of referrers

• Ready to lead on strategy and engage in business development opportunities

Preferred Requirements

Active member of Resolution on a regional or national basis

• Skilled in Non-Court Dispute Resolution options such as Mediation or Collaborative Family Law

• Experience working within a Legal 500 or Chambers-ranked Family practice

• Existing client following or referrer network in Hampshire or the surrounding region
